BizPlanBuilder v8.0

Error Message: (Win XP & Office 97) Cannot Detect Office

Running BizPlanBuilder with Office 97 and Windows XP may result in an Office Detection error.

It reports that you need to install Microsoft Office 97 or above (even though the software is already installed).

The fix is to install Office update SR-1 AND SR-2 (Service Releases 1 & 2)

Once these updates are installed, BizPlanBuilder will run fine with Office 97.

Microsoft Works

Unfortunately, Works does not contain the properly functioning version of Excel required by BizPlanBuilder. You can use the 'template' version of BizPlanBuilder supplied on your CD with your Works spreadsheet application. (You can also try buying a copy of Excel on EBAY!)
