BizPlanBuilder v8.1
Error Message: "A new version of office is required ".
Running BizPlanBuilder with Office 97 and Windows XP may result in this error message.
It reports that you need to install Microsoft Office 97 or above (even though the software is already installed). Ugh!
The fix is to install both of the Office Service Releases (SR-1 AND SR-2)
Once these updates are installed, BizPlanBuilder will run fine with Office 97.
The Service Releases can be downloaded from the following web page:

Microsoft Works
Unfortunately, Works does not contain the properly functioning version of Excel required by BizPlanBuilder. You can use the 'template' version of BizPlanBuilder supplied on your CD with your Works spreadsheet application. (You can also try buying a copy of Excel on EBAY!)
Sorry for this inconvenience! We're doing the best we can to stay ahead of Microsoft on these issues...
