How to: Change '$' into '£' or euro's, etc.
Open Excel...
It seems the most efficient way (and most reliable to get what you want) would be to open each page in the Excel workbook...
Hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key, and click on the cells with the ‘$’ symbol in them.
Holding the Ctrl key enables you to click on multiple cells and do this operation on all of them at one time.
(If the entire row has ‘$” in them, then just click on the row number at the far left.)
Pull down under 'Format'
Click on 'Cells'...
(Under the Number tab) Click on Accounting...
Click the down arrow on the far right of the 'Symbol:' window...
Choose the currency symbol you want!
(We recommend that you set the 'Decimal places:' to '0' -- it will keep your financial models easier to read -- unless you purposefully want to show the decimal places.)
Revising the model takes just once and you are all set.
