Macintosh: Copy the Financial Summary into your Executive Summary
The idea is to place the small financial summary table (Excel worksheet) into the Executive Summary (Word doc)...
First, save a copy of the business plan doc + the financial model you like to a separate folder...
Open the financial model to the Summary tab, find the Summary table in the upper right corner (light green background)...
Highlight completely (including the graph if you want it)...
Copy.
Open your business plan Word doc to the place you want to insert the table and graph.
Pull-down under Edit to Paste Special.
Then Paste Link (you want the table to automatically update as you change the numbers in the financial model.)
