The purpose of Graham's Foundation is to support the parents of micro-preemie babies. Graham's Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides care packages that offer practical and emotional support for the parents of micro-preemies during their journey in the NICU. Our BOLD GOAL is to be an approved resource in every Level 3 and 4 NICU in the United States and deliver at least one care package to each of those NICUs in a calendar year.

Save our Rain Forests
In recent years concern over the destruction of the world's tropical rainforests has reached global proportions. Alarm about the extinction of species, the permanent loss of potentially life-saving medicinal plants, the irreversible damage to the delicate balance of the Earth's climate control system and the tragic disappearance of indigenous cultures has captured the attention of millions of people around the world. JIAN has already donated $1,000 to the Pachamama Alliance.

Hundreds of organizations have formed and are doing important work addressing virtually every level of the problem. And yet, rainforests continue to fall, by some estimates at the rate of 10 million trees per day. Despite our best efforts, the disappearance of our tropical rainforests, like many other global economic, social and environmental crises, seems beyond our ability to control. Obviously something more is needed.

Their "Roots and Shoots" program is helping to create grass roots environmental changes world-wide. Jane Goodall has been one of my heroes for a long time and is a tireless visionary and "actionary."

Mother Miracle — www.mothermiracle.org

This is a small organization with no telemarketing — in fact no marketing (except a mailbox) — just 2 founders/teachers with a beautiful vision. They are from the US and gave up their careers and prosperous lifestyles to move to India and start this school after visiting the country and feeling a call to do so.

The school serves children from extremely poor backgrounds. The idea with the school is to give the children a proper education and guidance for their future dreams of college or professional life, to help them to help their families break out of the poverty cycle. The school grew from 20 - 80 children in one year. 

It costs $25 a month to sponsor a child. It costs two US dollars a day to feed a family of five in India.
