Technology has come a long way too
The Windows application program that drives the BizPlanBuilder system has been completely overhauled as a result. (We're working on the Mac application!) Is it worth the upgrade to BizPlanBuilder v11?

Probably not if you have just written your business plan—just edit that and keep going. However, to take advantage of the new content as well as the multi-user, collaborative features and share files, purchasing this upgrade to write a new business plan is well worth it. (Your collaborators will also require licensed copies BizPlanBuilder as well.) Or, if you have any older version of BizPlanBuilder (or any other business plan software), and you want to write the best plan possible for today's market, then, yes, it would be worth it to upgrade to BizPlanBuilder v11.

I needed to put together a company wide strategy... BizPlanBuilder really worked like a charm. I thought this is a goldmine – it has a nice structure and lots of great content & ideas. I expected a political nightmare as I introduced it across the company, but it actually got people to focus and work together. We pulled a team together and interviewed about 30 people. I could have called McKinsey and spent a gazillion $ and sure it would have had some more spit & polish, but it wouldn't have been a better performer than your template.
